Guru Pooja

Guru Pooja is a sacred ritual dedicated to Brihaspati (Jupiter), the planet of wisdom, expansion, and divine blessings in Vedic astrology. Jupiter governs knowledge, spirituality, prosperity, and dharma (righteousness). When well-placed, it brings abundance, good fortune, and spiritual growth, but an afflicted Jupiter can cause financial struggles, lack of direction, and obstacles in education or marriage.

Performing Guru Pooja helps attract positivity, enhance learning, and dissolve karmic blockages, especially in matters related to higher knowledge and family harmony.The pooja is most effective on Thursdays, Jupiter’s ruling day, with offerings of yellow flowers, turmeric, bananas, and yellow sweets.

Chanting the Guru Beej Mantra ("Om Gram Greem Groum Sah Gurave Namah") or reciting the Guru Stotram amplifies the benefits. Devotees seek divine guidance, mental clarity, and protection from negative influences.
